A Meditation of Trust
A reflection on Divine Source
A reflection on Divine Source
A Meditation of Trust
Our meditation turns inward trusting the Source of all creation, all mystery, all breath. Known by many names and yet unknown. Love: eternal, cyclical, and wild, birthing light and life. Nonbinary, fluid, mystery, within the motion of our becoming and learning.
Our meditation unfolds trusting Christ, the breath-light of Source, pervading within ancient and evolving works of love. Christ, a wholeness woven throughout all energies, a presence that walks with us in solidarity, embodied in Yeshu of Nazareth: human and divine, born of Spirit and Mary, a face of Source in flesh. Teaching love: love of self, love of neighbor, love of all that is seen and unseen. Yeshu walks the resurrection path accepting death to show us freedom, calling us to heal, to learn, to rise. We walk with ancestors, angels, Spirit, in sacred communion toward wholeness. Yeshu’s command is not a creed, but a call: to love. To be love.
Our meditation is sustained trusting Spirit, the breath-wisdom, the Sacred Feminine, expressive within all times and spaces, pervading feminine, fluid, and nonbinary forms. She reminds us who we are. She amplifies ancient voices and traditions, walking with us through each lesson, each reincarnation of our spirit.
As above, so below. As within, so without. Mote it be. And so it is. Blessed be. Amen.
Yeshu’s Prayer
Our Creator in the heavens, we honor your many names. May your love come to us, may your compassion be done by us, on Earth as it is in the heavens. Give us today our daily bread, and forgive any hurt we have caused, as we forgive ourselves, and those who have hurt us. Help us in times of hardship and protect us from evil intentions. For love and compassion is who you are, now and forever. Amen.
The Three Principles
Within our lives, and based upon everything I have written so far, I believe there are three principles we can live by that pervades with love:
1st Principle - We learn, we act, we respond, we teach, and we experience all that is seen and unseen, through the verb: love. Love is patient, love is kind, it isn’t jealous, it doesn’t brag, it isn’t arrogant, it isn’t rude, it doesn’t seek its own advantage, it isn’t irritable, it doesn’t keep a record of complaints, it isn’t happy with injustice, but it is happy with the truth. Love puts up with all things, trusts in all things, hopes for all things, endures all things. Love never fails. (Christian Scriptures, Common English Bible, Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians, chapter 13, verses 4 to the first sentence of verse 8)
Answering the question: Am I loving in a way that brings unity, dignity, and sacred renewal, to myself, to others, and to all creation, as from Divine Source, the essence of love?
2nd Principle - We learn, we act, we respond, we teach, and we experience all that is seen and unseen, through the verb: light. Yeshu said, “you are the light of the world!” And he said, “You are Christs!” Illuminate your path, and your neighbors path, through love. Allow yourself to receive Christ’s light, your neighbors light, and the light of the universe, for your learning path, without prejudice.
Answering the question: Does my light flow from Christ-consciousness, boldly illuminating life-giving truth, guiding others with love, and affirming the divine light within every being?
3rd Principle - We learn, we act, we respond, we teach, and we experience all that is seen and unseen, through the verb: life. We receive life-giving affirmation and guidance through the Wisdom of all life. Our love and our light, influences our life and the flow of wisdom within and through each of us. Allowing the flow of all three expressions, opens our life to pervade within all that is seen and unseen, connected to a true and whole communion with God.
Answering the question: Does my life flow from love and light, honoring my divine worth and embracing the sacred wisdom woven through my neighbors, ancestors, guides, and creation?
All three principles will ultimately answer the questions Christ poses to each of us, the questions we ponder within the cyclical rhythms of the Universe: Those receiving resurrection, will say to Christ, ‘When did we see you hungry, and feed you? When did we see you thirsty, and give you a drink? When did we see you as a stranger, and welcome you? When did we see you naked, and give you clothing? When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?’ And Christ will respond, ‘When you did these things to any of your neighbors around you, you did it to me!’ (YL14.5-6) Together as a communion we affirm the dignity, divinity and inherent honor of every child of the Universe.
If there is any one of us out there that says, “I have learned all I need to know, there is nothing further for me to learn!” You are lying to yourself and to all creation!
Explanation of the Symbol
Chi, the first letter, and Rho, the second letter of the Greek word Christos (Χριστός), is at the center of the symbol within the center of the heart and outside of the heart, signifying the foundation is in Christ and Christ’s command to love—love is who God is throughout all creation. Surrounding it, is a circle representing unity and eternity, encasing the Chi/Rho in a loving embrace. The circle is broken into two parts representing all of creation, earth, sky, sun, moon and stars. Within the circle is the yellow, symbolizing the light of Christ, the light of the Universe, and the light within each part of creation— and within God’s kids. Within the light are the rays and the hands, that are colored with all the colors of the LGBTQ+ Inclusive Pride Flag, symbolizing equality, inclusion, and affirmation of all colors of skin, all sexual orientations, all gender identities, all that make us different and equal—celebrating diversity and inclusion. The hands are positioned in meditation and centering prayer, which are definitive ways to connect with our Divine Source, and symbolizing the full communion with God that we already possess with in our own light and the light of all creation.
