Yeshu.Life is an independent, life-giving movement rooted in the divine principles of Love, Light, and Life/Wisdom.
We are inspired by the spirituality of Yeshu (Jesus) and his teachings of love, inclusion, and the dignity of every person in body, mind, and spirit.
Our intention is to create spaces where all loving and life-giving expressions of the Divine are welcomed and honored.
Our purpose is to nurture freedom, healing, and transformative leadership that recognizes the sacredness and divinity of all creation.
We are not building a religion.
We are not seeking members.
We are empowering leaders, just as Yeshu taught us to do.
In our experience and maybe even in your experience, "religion" often seeks conformity, and at times forces it through oppression and division.
Spirituality:
Is a free-flowing embrace of love, light, and the wisdom of life, woven into the natural cyclical rhythms of the universe.
Is an openness to our Divine Source (God), free from prejudice toward the names or understandings many use to describe God.
Is a welcoming of the beauty within diverse expressions, rituals, prayers, incantations, artistic depictions, divination practices... each a doorway to new sacred experiences.
Is an invitation to receive differing perspectives that nourish life-giving growth and empower us to shine the divine light within each of us.
We are not affiliated with, or follow any Christian church or denomination. We are an independent non-profit.
Yeshu is the Hebrew name for the one we know in the West as "Jesus." Some say it should be "Yeshua," but that is a transliteration of the Hebrew. The "a" would not be pronounced in Hebrew. We use the name "Yeshu" because many have been harmed physically, mentally and spiritually in the name of Jesus.

A practice of deep listening: to Spirit, to self, to one another, and to the Earth.
A celebration of mystery, not mastery, where questions are as sacred as answers.
A ritual of shared presence, where every voice is sacred and every story matters.
A return to the sacred imagination, where wonder and mystery are part of true spirituality.
A space where divination, discernment, and dialogue are welcomed as spiritual nourishment.

Hi! I am Danny Shay Phelps, a teacher and spiritual counselor. I am grateful that you are here! I am the founder of Yeshu.Life, and provide resources for your personal spiritual journey. This site is still a work in progress, and I hope it continues to be that way. Learning is continuous, spiritual expression always changes, and love never ends.
I received a Master of Divinity (MDiv), with a concentration in Multicultural Studies, from United Lutheran Seminary (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America ELCA) in 2018. I served as a pastor in Philadelphia, PA, for around 7 years, until 2023 when I left organized religion.
I now live in Minnesota with my husband of 15 + years, and our nephew we are raising. I have worked, until recently, as a Special Education Paraprofessional, and will begin soon as an ABA Behavioral Therapist. I have never been a huge sports fan, but I do love my home teams: Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Wild, and Minnesota United. I love spirituality, and the freedom to express oneself in any way that resonates from within our very being, our spirit, our light; and I love engaging my spirit guides, my angels and my ancestors. And, I love you!
